Where did the name "Honeybean" come from? Honeybean is a silly little take on Kaelah's personal branding (Kaelah Bee --> Little Chief Honeybee --> Hive + Honey --> Honeybean) which revolves around all things Bee related, as well as her friendship with Susannah Bean, who she hopes will become a vital part of Honeybean in the future.

Where did the idea for Honeybean Mobile Boutique originate? Kaelah has had indie retail dreams for many years, but Honeybean was formed from a late night (think 3am) backyard conversation with her best friend Susannah while visiting in Chicago. Kaelah has made many friends via blogging and has familiarized herself with several mobile shops over the past few years. Honeybean is not the first mobile boutique out there, but she is the first in Nashville. Honeybean follows a great line of mobile shops including Haberdash Vintage, Wanderlust Mobile Shop, and Hill Vintage just to name a few!

What year/model is Honeybean? Bernadette (as we affectionately call her) is a 1968 Yellowstone camper that has been gutted and restored in all of her glory!

Did you do all of the camper renovations? No. Due to our lack of knowledge on restoration and all things related, we opted to go the third party route and are so pleased with the outcome! We contacted a lovely family who operates under the name of Fine Designs Camper Sales in Smithland, Kentucky to pick out and tackle the renovations on Honeybean. They were positively wonderful and within 3 weeks of my first phone call, we were picking her up! They did all of the interior work, electrical, restoration, and painting!

Where will Honeybean be operating? We plan to take her wherever we possibly can! Including, but hopefully not limited to, flea markets, craft fairs, music festivals, private parties and events, photoshoots, and various locations throughout the country. We'd love to find a little lot of land to rent on the weekends in the Nashville area! (If you know of anywhere, please shoot us an email at honeybeanboutique@gmail.com! We'd love any and all tips!)

What kind of inventory can we expect to find in Honeybean? We are crafty people at heart and we take pride in independent designers and handmade items. With that being said, we strive to curate a lovely collection of goods such as handmade hair accessories, jewelry, independently designed clothing labels (both local and long distance), hand-picked vintage apparel and pre-loved pieces, as well as housewares, print goods, and much much more. The only way to know for sure is to stop by and see for yourself! We promise you won't be disappointed!

If I wanted to have my items sold in Honeybean, how could I go about that? We are always on the lookout for awesome indie designers and we'd love to meet you! Please don't hesitate to send us a detailed email including links to your work (or high quality photographs), press kits, and anything else you think would be beneficial to honeybeanboutique@gmail.com! We operate on a quarterly basis and we regularly rotate designers and product in the shoppe as to have the best availability of goods!

I'd love to use Honeybean in my wedding/photoshoot/event. Is this possible? Absolutely! We love all of the wonderful opportunities allotted since Bernadette is on wheels! She is available for private parties (we come to you! More on that below!), weddings (if you'd like to set her up for something snazzy... photobooth or otherwise!), and photoshoots (we will happily bring her so you can pose for senior portraits, engagement shots, wedding photos, etc!). If you are interested in Honeybean being a part of your day in anyway, don't hesitate to contact us!

What do you mean by "available for private parties"? Honeybean is available for private parties and events just like you'd expect from an Avon/Mary Kay party. We are happy to bring her to your home (or location of event), set up and allow you and all of your guests to shop privately at your leisure. We will gladly provide small finger foods and refreshments if desired (at a minimal cost). Hosts of these parties are given a generous discount on their purchases and there is no charge for a private event provided that it is within 20 miles of downtown Nashville and the date is previously unscheduled. For events that include food/beverage, or are farther than 20 miles, we would be happy to discuss mileage and compensation for your event!

In addition to being a mobile retail location: Honeybean also accepts all major credit cards, takes custom commissions on certain items for parties, weddings, and events, and comes with her own handy-dandy photographer. Mike is a professional lifestyle photographer based in Nashville and would be happy to hear from you concerning any event you might have!

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us and ask! We are always happy to hear from you! You can email us at honeybeanboutique@gmail.com, Tweet at us @honeybeanshoppe, or find us on Facebook at facebook.com/honeybeanboutique!
